Custom Chesney Mantel with Hearth
Historical Chimney Restoration
Customer had a metal heatilator firebox. We removed the metal firebox and pulled out from the back of the chimney. Then we rebuilt firebox into a Rumford firebox

This picture shows how good we matched the mortar, you can't tell repair work was even done.
Completed Firebox, The four stones on each corner of the firebox shows where there used to be metal rusted vents from the heatilator, we cut them out and replaced with gray stone.
We removed siding from back of house and from chimney and replacd with Cultured stone. This picture shows us prepping the area, getting ready for the overlay.

This fireplace had a raised brick hearth. We removed the hearth, and instead of lowering firebox, we installed Italian Granite around all four sides of fireplace and new hearth. Giving it a very contemporary look. Custom copper glass doors were also installed.

This is a progress picture. We removed existing mantel, surround, hearth and built a new raised hearth, and overlay with stone.
We reused the existing mantel, we just cut off legs and painted. We also installed a blue stone hearth and installaed a new woodstove insert. Not only is fireplace more stylish but its also more energy effecient and is no longer a heat loss for the home, but instead heats the home.
This fireplace is going to be rebuilt into a Rumford and then we are going to overlay using real thin stone.

This is the completed Fireplace. We used Real thin stone for overlay and bluestone for hearth and mantel.
With new Rumford Firebox, customer gets a roaring fire, before we redesigned the fireplace the customer said that it was a drafty, cold fireplace and it smoked. Now not only do they get warmth from it with its new design but it no longer smokes
We removed old concrete stairs and replaced with brick. We also had new railings made and apron going to walkway is new as well.

We ground out the old mortar and replaced with new mortar, we also poured a new cement crown on top of the chimney and installed a new chimney cap.
This home was over 150 years old. The fireplaces had been closed up many years ago and the chimney was falling apart. We rebuilt chimney and opened up walls and rebuilt fireplaces. Picture showing is of the chimney. fireplaces will follow.

This was a new home construction, we were hired by the builder to build the chimney and the front columns of the house.

We pitched the roof and built a new one using copper, We also installed copper gutters and overlayed the front with stone. We also replaced the wooden pillars and overlayed with stone. This gives the whole house a new look.
We excavated area under deck and built a brick sitting area, the walls have weep holes installed and underneath brick patio is a drainage system.
